COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL was launched by Mr. Bharat Gandhi in the year 1980 to provide brokerage and other relevant services to Indian Exporters and Foreign Buyers in the field of Agricultural commodities international trade.

A decade before establishing his own business under the name and style of "COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL", Mr.Bharat Gandhi entered into Agricultural Commodities trade in 1970 and worked for 10 years to gain thorough knowledge and practical experience of handling exports from India of Groundnut Kernels, Oilseed Meals, Castor Oil, Sesame seed etc. and imports of Canola - Rapeseed, various Edible Oils, Pulses etc.

It is with the backing of such experience and confidence that the company COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL was formed.

In 1982, when India was just emerging as a supplier of Agricultural Products, Mr.Bharat Gandhi was appointed as an adviser by Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) (Set up by The Ministry of Commerce, Government of India) to develop exports of various Agricultural commodities.

"AVANI INTERNATIONAL" is an another company under the same group which is recognized as a Registered "EXPORT HOUSE" by the Government of India - Ministry of Commerce & Industries.

Nearly 1500 M.T. Hulled Sesame seed to Europe.

Nearly 900,000 M.T. Soyabean Meal to China , Korea , Indonesia , Malaysia , Taiwan , Thailand and Sri Lanka .

Nearly 210,000 M.T. Rapeseed Meal, 3mm Powder & Pellet Form to Japan, Korea & Taiwan.

Average 8 to 10 containers every month of Edible grade Toasted & Untoasted Soya Flour
...to Singapore, Sri Lanka and other Far East destinations.

Nearly 300,000 M.T. Groundnut / Peanut meal to erstwhile Czechoslovakia, Poland, ...Romania ...etc. and other East European countries.

Nearly 1200 M.T. Whole Red Chilli to Far East countries.
